Peterson Power Systems serves Northern California and Oregon, providing Caterpillar clean diesel and natural gas engines for electrical generation, industrial, temperature control, marine, and trucking applications.

In business since 1936, Peterson opened a separate division dedicated exclusively to the Power Systems Industry in 1977.

The 40,000 square foot facility, located in San Leandro, is home to our Power Systems Sales, Engineering, Rental, Parts, and Service Departments. Peterson is also your dealer for the revolutionary CAT UPS (uninterrupted power supply) system, switchgear, rental turbines and Sullair air compressors. Branch operations located in Benicia, Chico, Eureka, Fortuna, Redding, San Martin, Santa Rosa, Willits and Willows provide additional support for our customers located outside the Bay area.
