| JOB DESCRIPTION |

Peterson Power Systems Inc. is in need of a qualified Compressed Air Technician who has basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Candidates are required to have experience with all compressors, including Sullair, Atlas Copco, Quincy, Gardner Denver, Comp Air Kellog, and IR. Candidates must have a refrigeration certification to perform service on air dryers in compressed air systems and the ability to perform work and preventative maintenance on all brands. This position requires the ability to accurately and concisely complete service reports and warranty forms. |

| PREFERRED SKILLS |
|
Candidates must have a minimum of five years (5) experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems, preferably within the south bay area.
Candidates must have a valid CA driver’s license and be able to provide a current DMV printout reflecting a good driving record. Possession of a hazmat endorsement is a plus.
Candidates must be a member of Operating Engineers Local #3, or willing to become one. Candidates must have the ability to handle multiple tasks, work overtime as needed, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as basic computer knowledge. |
