56-Ton Heavy Duty Rollers

Peterson designed and built these 56-ton heavy duty rollers (shown in tandem) for use on Guy F. Atkinson's Cherry Valley Dam contract near Yosemite in 1953, and again at Trinity Dam near Redding in the late 1950s. They were virtually indestructible. Peterson engineer Don Stroot (retired 1992) is the operator pictured.      back
